i have a 1995 eldorado its overheating and saying ac compresser is off. whats the problem/

your coolant is low, so low that is causing your car to overheat...in your coolant loop is a sensor that tells the condenser that is the right temperature to begin the compressor motor...it never gets to the right temperature because there isn't enough coolant in there....take a look at your waterpump to see if fluid is dripping out of the weephole, check for loose hoseclamps degraded rubber hoses~
