Someone has. That means that a sensor is detecting a problem, It can be one of a hundred different things. But you can scan for the OBDii trouble or fault codes to help you find the issue. Borrow, purchase or have a garage or auto part store scan the vehicle for you and post the numbered codes back here for more help.

I have and it gave me the code P2002 something to do with particulate trap below threshold so I tried running the vehicle in a lower gear for a good period of time to try to clean but it don’t seem to smoke up and it hasn’t made any difference so I refilled the car up and added a particulate dpf cleaner addictive to see if that helps but I can’t engage the 4x4 function until hopefully it clears.

Just to give people a follow up, I took the car to have a dpf clean and so far all the lights have cleared and the engine is more responsive, cost was just over £220.00 which I think was worth paying to have done as now the 4x4 function should work again

Po 138. High voltage bank 1 sensor 2 is the code definition..BUT , It is actually the Bank 1 sensor 1 Air fuel ratio sensor under the catalytic converter. Its sending a false code to the ecm saying its the O2 sensor further back in the exhaust. THE ECM will possibly need an update after this is replaced. Some do and some don't , unhook the battery while replacing the sensor and then start the car afterwards and drive it for around a half hour to let the ecm compensate for the proper A/F ratio. If the lights come back on you'll need the update , if not then you should be all good to go.
