Winter thermostat?

Asked by GuruBGD8S Jan 28, 2019 at 07:02 PM about the 2011 Volkswagen CC 2.0T Sport FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is there a winter thermostat for this VW cc, 2011?  We've been told there isn't, this car takes a long, long time to warm up.

You only need one thermostat, you might need a new one if the old one is stuck partly open. If it is super cold where you are you could block part of the radiator with cardboard but don't overheat the engine!
