2011 Ford Ranger internal light problem

Asked by Vaughankiwi Jun 12, 2017 at 02:53 AM about the 2011 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So the internal light in my 2011 Ford
Ranger wasn't working so I took it out and
replaced it, 12v 10W. The light works. But
now I have more issues. My indicators
don't flash when I lock and unlock the
vehicle like it use to. The alarm that the
lights were left on when the vehicle was
turned off no longer works, and the drivers
seatbelt light only flashes when I take my
belt off instead of staying illuminated.

Any ideas guys?

No. The lights that flash when I lock my car are the indicators. They work normally just not when I lock or unlock my car so haven't considered any fuses

Ok sounds along the right lines. I will take it into ford and let you know if this was the issue
