Question type: General

My question is my 94 Cadillac I've changed a lot of parts on it since last year
and since the transmission lock when my starter cap broke and jammed it put
it in a security mode cuz I got a brand new everything I just changed my fuel
filter today now it's turning but not having the power to start it so is there a
way to take it off the security mode because I'm sure it would I just need
somebody to agree that it wouldn't do it unless it's something else plus I got a
brand new fuel relay fuel pump is new coils vgr I got too many to list thanks
for your time

the chip in the key might have failed, do you have another key you can try?

Is the Passkey Fault light on? If so it's a security system problem. You need to go into the climate control panel and pull the trouble codes for the BCM. Also, don't be confused by any Cadillac service information you read from the period. It will refer to the BCM as the CCM (Central Control Module). It's the same thing. If the Passkey Fault light is NOT on and the engine IS cranking over the problem is not with the security system. However if you determine it is the security system post back. I'm very familiar with the VATS security system thanks to my 94 Fleetwood! Hope that helps! Jim

Hi guys it might pull to read this but and I've been out at all day again I checked everything that 10 times and then I also read up on the ignition issue more crap to deal with banana we appreciate your help no I'm going to take my steering apart and change it good thing for videos thanks again by the time I'm done I love a new car everything mostly changed on it thanks guys
