I have a 2011 Nissan Altima that is jerking and
sputtering and now the check engine light came on.
What do you think it is?

It was one bad cylinder (ignition coil). So it was called a misfire when it was diagnosed. After the change it runs fantastic just make sure you check your motor oil and transmission fluid.
