2011 Jeep Liberty Intermittent Crank, No Crank

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Perhaps more information would help....
Intermittently my Jeep Liberty will not start, then all is well?!  This began in July.  Installed a new battery.  Since then, I can start and drive, but then after stopping, it won't turn back on.  The dash lights and radio come on, but NO noise that suggests the engine is even trying to start.  After, usually an hour, it will start just as it should.  Becoming more frequent.  Sadly, I am traveling and it happened twice when I stopped for gas.  Now I am 500 miles from home with a Jeep that I never know if it will start.  Anyone with ideas?
