I recently installed a new fuel pump an its showing und er 40 psi is thats why my car starts up an cuts off about 2 secs i have new pressure regulator an filter

I hear it runs for 5 sec but pressure is to low it suppose to be between 45-50 psi guess I need bigger pump
When you turn the key on ... do you hear the pump run for about 5 seconds before it stops? If it does than it is up to pressure and the car should run ... if the pressure was too low it should start then run rough. Why was the pump originally changed?
I change pump because it wasn't getting enough fuel to injector an had to pour gas in throttle body to get it running
