Seriously need help! Whenever I drive over any small bump or even the white lines in the road at over 100km/h my car sways to the sides and feels extremely unstable.

Asked by PyramidHead Jul 21, 2016 at 04:32 AM about the 2011 Nissan Maxima SV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I almost crashed today because I tried to overtake
someone at ~140km/h and as soon as my tyres
touched the white lines my car lost control, it was
as if touching the white line amplified my small
turn to the left to a very sharp turn and dragged my
car to the left. I spent a lot of money trying to fix
this problem and I still don't know what the issue
is. My shocks and struts are new, my tyres are
new, and my wheels are properly aligned. What is
the problem?

The alignment could be off. Toe out will make cars dart around. Was the pavement wet when you hit the white line?
