No acceleration

I have a 2011 f150 4x4 5.0L. I was
driving fine then all of a sudden lost
power. Had gas floors and truck would
not rev up. It finally stalled. It started
right up but again would not rev. I
turned it off and let it sit a few minutes.
Restarted and at first the same thing
but after about 10secs it raved,up and
regained power. Drove straight home
with no more problems but engine light
is on. Help what do you think?
