Itinking sound in my wheels

I have a 2011 Ford F150 Platinum. When I enter my garage even after the truck has been sitting overnight there is a clicking sound emitting from the area of my front wheels. It sounds like something is tinking against the wheels. The brakes are in good shape and there is no grinding of any kind when being driven. The front end is properly aligned and all maintenance has been performed on schedule. Driving me nuts

My guess is the exhaust system is cooling and contracting which makes noises.

Agree with F O R. Mine is a 2010. The ticking noise when engine shut off was driving me nuts. If the pace of the clicking slows down or becomes erratic, it's the exhaust system cooling down. What makes it worse is trying to locate the tick. The exhaust system acts like a horn instrument. Where ever the tick is, it travels throughout the system. See if you can detect the sound from the end of the tail pipe. I could hear it on mine.
