Passenger window does not go up

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Front passenger window lowers from driver side
but will not go up. If window is partially down and I
try to raise it it continues to go down. Can raise it
back up from passenger side switch. Replaced
driver side door switch but still same issue.
Possibly a bad relay ? Appreciate any advice

Remove the door panel, Remove the leads to the motor. Use a multi-meter while depressing the window switch to see if voltage is present. If not, check the same on the leads coming from the switch just to make sure it is not defective. I suspect the windows are controlled by a low voltage relay. Locate and check. Some vehicles I have seen have a a separate relay for the master control on the drivers side.
