Murano keyless button

I have owned my 2011 Murano for two years, replaced the battery twice, and
experinced a dead battery ten times!!! !!   It's the damn stop/start button...it
you accidently push it again after your hit stop, it goes to accessory, with no
warning or lights or chimes at all. Then, an hour, I return to a dead battery. I'm
sick of it! Any suggestions.???

Take the battery out and don't use the feature ! if that don't work, maybe something in the owners manual/ https://owners.nissanusa.com/content/techpub/ManualsAndGuides/Murano/2011/2011-Murano-owner-manual.pdf

there is a problem with heat build up on the muranos battery, keep it sprayed with anti corrosion from auto zone
