Ask a Mini dealership. My guess would be no, it is not an emission part.
Thank you. I did, but they wouldn't answer unless they did diagnostics which was $170+tax, then walking away, they went to "find out" for me, and said "it could be covered by the emission warranty" which is when I first heard about it, and was ask to do the diagnostics again. I really disliked the experience, which is why I cam here
My Thermostat Housing needs to be replaced for my 2011 Mini Countryman S. Does anyone know if this lies under the emission warranty in CA?
