Question type: Maintenance & Repair

68,000 miles. bought from a 35 yr. GM engineer. mint condition and i'd like to keep it that way. i was surprised to find all the digital stuff still works. i'm used to working on hot rods and muscle cars so this is something new to me. i do love the car and plan to keep it forever if possible.

you can get something to keep the electrics powered up while you change the batter, im not sure what they are called off hand but they plug into the cigarette lighter, some even just run of a 9 volt batter, which is enough to store the settings in the electrics of most cars for a short time
