Why does my 300c stay in first gear for a short while, and has done so four times.

Asked by no1cripper Feb 02, 2015 at 09:15 AM about the 2006 Chrysler 300 C RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had the car checked, the oil level is fine in the gearbox, with no sign of any leak.
However, the car has stayed in first gear for about 100 yds before then behaving
normally.
Does it need an oil / filter change?

Have emission system check out. You are losing power some where that preventing the car to properly shift.
