Chrylser 300C 2006 loses power while driving

Asked by GuruNYKVV Oct 15, 2019 at 08:51 PM about the 2006 Chrysler 300 C AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving my car I will hear a chime then rpm goes down and power
declines.  About a month ago I was making a turn and car just turned off.
Cleaned the throttle body with cleaner and worked well for a while now this is
happening.  Should I just change the throttle body or any suggestions?

I am having the same issue with my 2005 300c. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to fix it?

+1 have this same issue would love to know if you found a solution. I can’t afford to take it in for repairs or diagnostic currently.

I have been experiencing a similar problem. Just bought my Chrysler 300 and have run it about 600 km (400 miles). It usually runs well, but yesterday, while on a 3 hour road trip, two or three times a single chime would go off and the rpm and speed would drop to zero for a second, then go back to normal. It is rather disconcerting! Has anyoned figured out what the problem is?
