I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab Z71 will it pull my 28.5' bumper pull Jayco camper? It weighs max 7500lbs but probably less

It probably will pull it OK if you have the trailer towing package but you might need a weight distributing hitch so check the towing instructions in your owners manual. Check your towing capacity to make sure of the trucks limits. It is good to weight the trailer as often times they weigh a lot more than you think when they are fully loaded.

I would highly recommend installing a deep transmission fluid pan and temperature gauge and it would not hurt to install a high capacity differential cover too. If the transmission operating temp runs much over 180 degrees then you need to upgrade the transmission cooler.
