Starts and dies after a few seconds

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I had the mass air sensor replaced. The truck ran good, I drove it about 2 hours
home. The next day it went into Limp Mode about 1/2 mile from home. I
disconnected the battery for about an hour. Now it starts and runs good for
about a minute then runs rough and dies.

Jethro pulls the batt. cable to clear codes . Did he replace the sensor also ? Take it to a good honest mechanic that has scan equipment
Sounds like you made your own can of worms. You may have messed up the computer’s programming, you can’t disconnect main power without using the memory saver tool, it plugs into the OBD2 port and keeps the computer present alive, it also prevent the security system from going into lockdown. You maybe towing the truck to the dealer to get it flashed to get it running again then they will need to find the actual problem.
There's a 850.00-1350.00 dollar bill at the stealership. Pro tip #1421 on fords NEVER try and clear codes by dumping the main power can cause software "collapse" corrupted files. fords nowadays are a horrible investment ford loves to hoard their software and equipment to keep you off the road and in the shop, and will gladly sell you a new computer for a kings ransom and your first born, the family jewels, and retirement. And then there's the original issue. Not to be a total jerk, ford is just a label now, not like when ford was job 1. And could drive it on 4 cyls chugging and smoking and rattling....... but still ran. dump it and get out while you can, anything after 2003 is just like a boat.....break out another thousand. A place to watch money die.
