I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 touring
and it’s making a ticking sound dose
anyone know what it is and I work an
hour away from my house is it safe to
drive with the ticking noise

Usually a ticking sound is caused by the valves being hit by the rocker arms. But not so much with hydraulic valve systems. Also check the A/C compressor, they sometimes make a ticking sound. Turn it on then off to see if ticking stops.
