how hard is it to put a bigger engine in the base model

Asked by dschmidt300 Feb 08, 2015 at 08:30 PM about the 2005 Chrysler 300 RWD

Question type: Car Customization

have a 2005 that had the 2.7 liter... would like to put maybe a 3.5... would the
transmission be the same from the 2.7L to the 3.5L? got the blown up 2.7 pulled already.
would there be computer and wireing issues? both a 6 cylinder. Not familiar with this type
of car. Bought it for 1500 with a bad motor. or do i just throw another 2.7...
