Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 fiat 500 hatch will not open. I rewired
it but now it is stuck closed. Is there a
mechanical hack to be opening/closing this or
how can I reprogram it? I keep seeing posts
about the open or close button - is that just
the button on the hatch handle? HELPPP!!!

I have the same issue. My entire trunk is dead electrically. I removed the interior panel on the back of the trunk, just a few plastic push in screws and a bolt and it revealed the trunk latch motor. I use a cabinet tip screwdriver to open it. There is a mechanical lever on the right of the latch motor you push down. Very inconvenient but whatever. Its chrystler quality.
