My 2005 Chrysler touring sedan will not start

Asked by Serafin Apr 04, 2016 at 03:42 PM about the 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I used my car in the morning for errands.  I turned in on 3 times with no problems.  I went home to for 15 minutes, then attempted to turn ignition on, car engine went on for 5 seconds, then turned off by itself. This happened twice, on 3rd try, car would not start at all.  The power windows dash and radio work during this time, but engine will not start.  Battery is good with no corrosion or cable issues.  Any suggestions?

I had the same problem a year ago and my spare key worked as well. I had the starter replaced a few days ago. I drove about 100 miles and when I got to my destination and turned the car off it wouldn't start. I tried my other keys and nothing. I was wondering if I need to get new keys or what?
