I listed my car to sell 10 days ago. I received 6 lead exoressing interest. 4 of them then never responded after receiving my direct contact info. 2 set up appointments to see it after we discussed the car in detail, each of whom cancelled the last minute and never responded further to my questions essentialy disappearing. Now I question if cargurus is for real and if each of these inquiries were FAKE ploys to keep me viisiting the site, a numbers game?s

I will do you one better. I have had my car listed for quite some time and received too many inquiries to count. Of those I would say 90% of them never get past their initial interest. My ad was even delisted at one point because CarGurus said it seemed like a "bait and switch" scam because I was getting so many inquiries and the car wasn't selling. I had to wait 30-45 days to have it put back up, and now it has disappeared again. Something truly is fishy here. I will you luck.
