Car won't start- barely clicks or no click & lights all on. Wait hours & car starts.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Battery was replaced about 18 mos ago so no corrosion on battery leads at all.
Car has been running. Couple weeks ago was running errands. Came out of store and car wouldn't start. Battery was fine and starter was fine. Left it there overnight, next morning it fired right up and drove it with no problems for 2 weeks. Today it did the same thing. After letting it sit for 3 - 4 hours it fired right up again. Lights come on bright inside and hear a light clicking or no clicking when turn key.

Double check battery charge again, a cell battery that is a bit low can create problems. Today's cars electric system places a big demand on batteries and they need to have a full charge at all times.
Actually I was reading an article about many reasons car won't start from Family Handyman Trick the computer- "A vacuum leak or funky temperature sensor can result in an air/fuel mixture that’s too lean to start a cold engine. If you’ve tried all the other tricks shown here and your car won’t start, press the accelerator halfway and try to start the engine. That’ll tell the computer to add more fuel." CAR IN PARK- I did press down on accelerator/ gas pedal while foot pressed on brake and turned the key and IT TURNED ON! What do I need to replace or fix so car turns on without pressing on gas pedal?
I am glad that this made the car start. I would replace the coolant sensor (ECT Sensor), it is the two wire sensor that is next to the thermostat housing. If the vehicle still gives you the same problem, then you need to look for the vacuum leak.
My 2007 Chrysler Pacifica keeps stopping change the alternator change the starter I have a brand new battery each time I have to let it sit for a couple hours could it be the spark plugs
Check battery, it doesn't start could it be ignition switch or the key
