2011 Honda Fit

Asked by onesimo12 Sep 01, 2015 at 04:18 PM about the 2011 Honda Fit Base

Question type: General

I bought a 2011 Honda Fit and it has no D/O. I wanted to know if it can run long drives like from Phoenix to Los Angeles without damaging the engine and transmission?

1 Answer

If the rpm's are about 2200 at 60 -65 mph you are fine. It won't damage anything to run for a long time at, say, 2800 rpm but economy will suffer. Engine speed faster than that is not good for long trips.
