Fuel filter is a life time in tank unit when on the road and moving the car runs like a champ and gets good fuel economy 5.8 to 6.7 l per 100km so I'm assuming it issent anything big

Remove & clean the idle air control valve, spray it out with a cleaner like brake clean, throttle body cleaner, etc, CAN ALSO USE Q=TIPS ALONG WITH SOLOVENT WHILE CLEANING IT. LET DRY & RE-INSTALL. It attaches to the intake! also try cleaning the maf sensor with a maf sensor spray or other spray cleaners-ie brake clean etc, disconnect, spray, let dry b4 installation. check pvc valve replace as needed! parts are available & plentiful in junkyard & much cheaper!!!

These cars have Fuel Tank issues. There is a fuel tank purge valve under the air filter box. It takes pressure out of t he gas tank. If it fails it can cause some crazy symptoms. Mine started rough idle and dying after fill up. Then it turned into dying while driving. No engine light but a code was stored under a P code relating to fuel pressure. Replaced Valve, solved my issue.

Yes my 2012 focus runs rough on highway 80 it starts. The motor sounds rough and you can hear it.Also my steering wheel was vibrating bad then went in had my wheels rotated it's still shakes just not as bad.I'm almost at 170000 miles. No stalling I was having a problem starting it took it in they told me it's my shift when put in park it doesn't register to the starter. Love my car was hoping I could hear from people if it's going to cost an arm and a leg to fix the problems I'm having with it. I am the only driver I bought it new first new car to me I usually buy used. Thanks in advance for any help.
