That's entirely up to the seller if they want to take your trade-in. I think you will find however most will not want to take in a salvage-titled trade. Try selling it yourself (here or on craigslist) or parting it out then putting the money down on a new car.
Anyone can take it,if they want to. Id imagine a new car dealer might not,although they might wholesale it. I dont think youll get much for it.about 30-50% of its value(if not salvage) If your talking about your Focus,try to sell it yourself. Dont be greedy,and be honest about the salvage title.You will sell it. Some insurance companies wont insure it at all. Geico will insure it.However,I dont know if they will sell collision coverage for it. You might find potential buyers cant get insurance.Pass this and your insurance info on to them,and satisfy their insurance objection
