2005 sebring overheating issue
2005 Chrysler sebring 4 cylinder x vin2.4 l
dohc.....Everything replaced so far, water pump,
thermostat, engine coolant sensor, gooseneck, top
radiator hose, bottom radiator hose, radiator,
alternator, tensioner and pulleys, all accessory
belts, timing belt (time is lined up correctly),
radiator cap, coolant, overflow tank.
Still overheating after 15 to 20 min of driving.
Quickly at idle. But if you put in park or neutral and
rev the motor it cools down some.
No smoke coming out of exhaust but when you
shut car off coolant and water bubble out of
overflow. And water/coolant is going somewhere
slowly... a noticeable amount within days but not
over night and cannot find a leak. We have gone
through everything we can think of besides the
engine block itself.
We have bled the system multiple times and
cleared the line ran air thru and water through the
system and used bleeder just below and to the
side of the gooseneck.
May or may not be related, when the overheating
issue started the air in the air vents randomly
started blowing scolding hot when I have it set on
ac circulate. I believe this part are the ac door
actuators and possibly the dryer though and not
related. Just coincident.
Any ideas? Hopefully not the one or two I am
fearing the most.
