From boriskv at bummerfest: It is located on the right (passenger) side under the perforated cover (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=ZW03-USA-02-2012- E70N-BMW-X5_35dX&diagId=64_1569 part #8) that goes over microfilter housing. Sensor is actually attached to the housing upper part (same diagram part #3).
