Mustang Sunvisors have a circle shaped item on them. What are these for?

There is a plastic circle shaped item on both my sun visors. Can anyone tell
what these are for? They have the word "LOCK" imprinted on them.

"The Passenger Visor now boasts a port that can be used to attach an included removable clip to hold sun glasses, documents, a pen, tire pressure gauge or other items."
