Headlights blinking on and off after car is turned off. I saw it and wasn't able to tell how long it was happening, it turned the car on and it stopped, after I turned the car off it happened again.

Asked by Felipe Jan 18, 2015 at 11:35 PM about the 2004 Chrysler 300M Special FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It stopped and I didn't think much of it,
but just now the car wouldn't start and I
had to give it a jump and it started. Any
one know what could cause this? Not
sure if it make a difference, but I live on
the east coast and we've been
experiencing really cold weather. And
today we had really bad freezing rain.

humidity and , moisture can be moving current across a a circuit, check if water drain contacts the pcm, some cars have the pcm under the wheel area and collects road water splash

Also on these cars the battery is susceptible to having bad connections do to the position of the battery. I would clean up the battery and all the connections as a start to fixing this problem.

my first thing is does your horn work because if your horn is not working and your lights are blinking that means u anti-theft system that comes with the vehicle has been enabled and the lights are blinking because the alarm is going off and this will drain your batteryyour horn is usually what sounds off instead of a siren on the factory alarm

Everything turns on but car won't start and emergency hazard lights won't stop flashing, and when I stick the key in the ignition it doesn't let me lock any of the doors
