Oil pressure turn off engine

Warning came on took it too Firestone
the said I just need an oil change light
came back on after I left and I took the
car back in , they checked it out and
said the car was running fine but the
warning is still coming on and beeping

They didn't mention maybe a bad sensor ? I wouldn't go there again , they should have checked things out before giving you the keys .

That is definitely a oil pressure low light, but if you really had a low oil pressure at 50 you would already have noticeable engine noises and damage. Now to do this right you should have an analog oil pressure gauge hooked up so you can see the actual oil pressure, if the actual pressure is good then replace the oil pressure switch for the oil warning light and you should be good unless there is a wiring issue.
