Car leak

On my car with a sun roof, (but was not the problem) had a leak also. I had like 2" of water in it from the weather. Took it to our dealer and they did a smoke test. They were able to find leaks not visible to the eye. They fixed what they could see and have not had a problem since.

Ed, did they find the problem? Usually the sunroof itself along with the weather stripping is fine but the sunroof drains need blown out. This is especially true if you park near any trees. Natural bits of debris get clogged in the elbows of the drain tunes for the sunroof.

Just fixed my 2004 S60 that was leaking rainwater into the cabin and leaving puddles on the floor mats. Like Volvo_girl said, I suspected the moonroof drains but the moonroof hadn't worked since I bought it. I tried to manually open the moonroof but I didn't see the usual hex nut underneath the dome light so I gave up on that idea. Then I took the right side front tire off, pried down the front part of the wheel well cover (looked like i wasn't the first), and unplugged the siren module with needle nose pliers. I then put the wheel well cover back with zip ties where the rivets were. I put the key in the door and locked/unlocked quickly 3 times. At this point my moonroof worked so I could open it up and clean out my drains. I snaked them a bit with a zip tie and then blew them out with compressed air. One final test showed the water draining from the moonroof to the street as it should. Left a fan on all night pointed at the floorboards to dry the carpets.

I notice the water leak is from the windshield, top left end corner (driver side). Model : S60 (P3) Year: 2012 Thank you

I had a similar issue with my 2004 S60. It turned out to be the windshield drain cracked joint. The shop in Albuquerque snaked a camera to find it. Ended up removing the windshield and replacing drain.
