2004 Chrysler crossfire will not start

Asked by Justreeves Feb 21, 2019 at 11:52 AM about the 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey I just got a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire and
the guy I got it from says as long as I leave it
in garage overnight it will start up but if I
leave it out it won’t. So After driving it a few
days I decided to test it and leave it outside
and now it won’t start. Does anyone know
what it could be. I have had battery tested
and I have already grounded both terminals
together for 10 seconds and it won’t turn
over. All lights come on and everything
seems to work except it won’t start at all.

Hi. That does sound a bit strange. I’d like to no if you found the problem yet. I would suspect the rcm. The early reply mentioned humidity and temperature. Both possible if there are extreme differences from inside to outside. You don’t have a distributor on a crossfire as they are coil over plug. I could write here for an hour to try and cover all the possibilities but if I had more details maybe we could figure this out together. I own 5 crossfires. 1 base model and 4 srt’s. Guess you could say I like the cars. Trust me when I say I’ve have had my fair share of issues but all have been solved without much cost. Information / symptoms are key to the solution
