oil leak on 2004 chrysler sebring conv

Asked by therex45 Dec 15, 2013 at 10:41 PM about the 2004 Chrysler Sebring GTC Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has had a very small oil leak for several months and is gradually getting worse and
you can smell it when you turn off the car..A tech looked under it and said pan wasn't
cracked that it may be some kind of oil sensor..Is there such a thing or is he meaning a
switch? He said it's an indicator that it will start out with a small leak and gradually get
worse.
