Yeah I seen that video before but thats for a stratus which is totally different than my convertible..there is no trunk access to the struts..checked already
This is the only other info I could find on it. Other than that, you will have to go to the auto store and buy a Haynes repair manual. http://www.ehow.com/how_4507750_replace-shocks-struts-chrysler- sebring.html
Denise, the back seat does not need to come out on a 2001 through 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible you have to do it with the top in place. There is a screw on the left side and on the right side about eight or ten inches in from the back edge of the seat its a Phillips head that has to be removed. There are also two plastic clips on the back of the seat right at the corners of the back rest of the seat. Carefully remove those and then you can move the trim carpet and insulation out of the way. Once you do that you can see the two bolts for the top of the shock towers. Then it's pretty easy to follow the rest of the video that reeling posted to be able to go ahead and get the struts replaced. Hope that helps.
its easy.take wheels off. look up url see two puchin plastic clips, remove them, put the conv top up abouta foot to give u a little head clerance,15mm socket and rachet.go to the back corner of thhe seat, reach over and pull cloth interior back, walah there are the strut bolts-remove.jack back up and take out the lower bolts and drive them out.done.
