I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring LXI Convertible. I need to know how to check the Power Top Switch to see if that's causing my top not to go up or down or if it's the hydrolic motor itself that's out.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I move the switch back & forth there's no
sound coming from the motor so I'm not sure
which one of the 2 are causing the problem.
Hopefully it's not both

The switch would be easy to fix- just replace it- the motors will be expensive, but chances are it's an electrical problem- if you have a test light you can check the circuit- - just use the light to check if there is power into and out of the switch- check if there is power to the motor-
