Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed out my 2005 escape battery at Advance auto yesterday and just drove 20 feet
before it died and now will not stay started. Is there a solution to how I can fix the issue
and get my escape running again. It's in a public parking lot now.

Ok here is what I have found. When changing the battery in a FEH you will need to check your manual for the relearn procedures. With out going thru these procedures you will either have poor idling or a no start condition. Also they say to make sure you cleaned all the corrosion off the battery connections.

I have a 2005 ford escape hybrid I bought used only 3 months ago and now it just won't stay running for longer than 5 minutes, it will just cut off and say stop safely now and of course I have to pull over. Does anyone happen to know what is causing this.
