Does anyone know where/how to buy an engine for a BMW 325xi 2002? I have been looking online but I
haven't found many good places or options. I basically just do a google search but if anyone knows any
specific places or ways of searching for one please let me know.... This is starting to take way too long
to get my car situation figured out.....

Try Bavarian Auto Recycling www.bmrparts.com I have had some great luck with these guys. There is also Autobahn Parts www.autobahnparts.com and Bimmers South bimmerssouth.com Good luck!
Thanks Michael! I have tried the BMRparts with no luck. They do not have the engine I am looking for. It's tough to find the right one since there are so many different models and the AWD one is special. I will try the others you mentioned. Thanks!
I am happy to help. What part of the country are you located? I know there are some shops that specialize in rebuilt engines as well. You just send them you old core as part of the exchange process.
I'm in Northern Colorado. I would rather get a rebuilt engine, but from what I've found they're more expensive and I haven't found much about them online. But that would be cool if you know of any places I could look into it. Thanks!
Another question: What should i expect to get when buying a used engine? I think I found a good one but, like most i've looked at, they only come with certain parts... do you know what's like normal? and How do I know what parts I might need? can the mechanic just take them from my engine? Any info would be most helpful! Thanks! Oh! and what should be expected from a warranty? Most of them say "parts warranty"?? Is this different than another kind of warranty? sorry... I've never done this before... want to make sure I get it right!
I would ask the seller to provide you with a written warranty spelling out what is and is not covered; along with a list of all parts to be accompanying the engine.
