2004 chysler sebring coolant temp sensor location

car  resevoir boils  i  replaced radiator cap and thermostat

located usually near thermostat housing depending on engine model, burp all air out of system an air bubble will fool the sensor and cause coolant to boil and force steam to reservoir

If you have the 2.7l engine its as the picture shows. Mine was doing the same thing and I had to replace the whole housing. Took me about 3 hours with out removing the intake manifold off. ( I didn't want to replace the seals, other wise it would have taken me 1 hour) If you do replace the whole housing there are 4 bolts, 3 of which are easy the 4th is just under the manifold cover and can only be accessed be a rench to it will take time to tighten it, but I only spent $56 on the repair.

My husband & son got the job done in an hour without removing the manifold by simply bending a wrench
