Question type: Maintenance & Repair

still trying to diagnose why my 2005
bmw 325ci isn't starting. engine is
turning over really well, but sounds
like it's not getting any gas. any
suggestions? my car has ran out of
gas once and i do let it get pretty low
sometimes. could it be trash in the
fuel line?

(Ed92626) okay so I just put some gas in it..and the car started..it sputtered for about 15-20 seconds then it started to run normal but I'm not gone drive it until i know what's the problem. i took the fuel pump fuse out..put it back in and turned that switch and i heard the fuel pump BUT when i turned the switch back and forth(WITHOUT REMOVING FUSE) i did not hear the fuel pump.
