2012 honda civic coupe manual transmission

Asked by navynyc Aug 29, 2016 at 09:26 PM about the 2012 Honda Civic Coupe LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2012 honda civic coupe lx and the clutch
for a/c  engages on and off every 20 seconds is
that a normal thing  and i was told by the dealer
that hondas work normally like that but it sounds
fishy to me because if it continuous  the ac motor
would just get damaged or the clutch would not
work later ...can someone tell me if is normal or
needs replacing   thank you !!

If the air still blows cold I would say your fine, if not could be a problem.

yes the air is cold but im worry because the a/c clutch engages and dissengages after 15 seconds and does that continuosly and it bothers me because i can feel the motor rattle everytime it does that in my opinion i dont think is normal

It could be over or under charged. Take it to an A/C specialist to have it looked at.

well i just got this car few days ago from a dealer and took it back to the dealer but they said is normal but tomorrow im taking it to the other honda dealer to see what they tell me but i think i still have a problem it coulb under charged or it could be a relay.... will see what they tell me ill post the results when get them and thanks for the advice !!
