I would say no. Even if it had every single option and less than 20000 miles (which it probably doesn't) and even if it were in excellent condition it would only be valued by kelly blue book at around 8800. I would offer 7500 or so.

I would agree with kyle, and remember, all that aftermarket stuff isn't worth a whole lot during resale
yeah dont listen to rob he is stupid kyle has a good hand on it.
considering where im from no one drives mustangs, i would buy it. the air intake and exhaust will pry give u like 55 HP xtra i think its worth it
and considering how popular theese mustangs are you could resell it easily

it may give more hp, but it is also harder on the engine and may lead to some problems, minor problems, but annoying
cold air intakes only lower the engine temps, thus helping the engine live longer and giving better MPG, exhausts will decrease backpressure leaving less carbon deposits on the engine, but yes it can lead to small problems
and what are you like six. go play with your match box's the grown ups are talking.
with a car like this as long as you dont drive it like an idiot it will last long and you will enjoy it, im 15 and i guarentee i know more about engines and cars than any 19 year old stuck up kid who thinks he knows everything
I would pass on it simply because that is above suggested price by quite a bit. Regardless of whether or not it's a good car, it's not a good deal. I'm getting prices in the 7k from kbb.com Well that's assuming it private party sale, the price is about dead on for a sale from a dealer though. If it's a private party sale, print out the kbb for private party and retail and show him the value of the car, and respectfully ask if he's willing to sell at a fair price. If he's not, then pass on it, it's not like this is the only Mustang GT out there. If you're looking at one from a dealer, are they offering any kind of limited warranty with it? If not, I'd say pass and look for a private party sale. Not much special about dealer sales unless they are throwing something in on the deal, otherwise you're just paying to say you bought it from them.
Robbie, although most kids think "oh sweet, awesome aftermarket shit!", most after market items do not simply add their value to the value of the car. In fact, most take away value from the car. So, it's still definitely not a good deal.
Maybe old school logic? Two rules that used to be referenced all of the time when buying used cars. The first one doesn't apply here, but is food for thought. Never buy a car with a hitch, you never know what was really towed with it, what is the life expectency of the trans if it was overworked? Never buy a car with aftermarket "racing" parts, how hard did this car get beaten on? Although rumor has it that the Mustang's computer counts how many times the rev limiter has been engaged, if this is true then you can take it to a dealer and find out that number. A couple of times might be OK but 100 is definately an abused car.
heres the deal dude. im a ford guy and i have owned a few vehicles with the 4.6 in em great torque and great motor. looks like shes got some tint and some rims throw on it which i would see if he has the stock ones to come with for that price. also a mach1 lip i mean its a good looking car. but i'm just sayin dude talk him down as much as you can. i'm pickin up a 96 gt fully built 4.6 with a tko tranny(holds 800 hp) and a paxton blower with 80,000 miles and full black leather interior for only 6,000 so dude theres better deals out there but its all in preference to what body and what you want in the car. dont listen to that robbie d-bag hes 15 not like he has been driving a mustang everyday for almost a year like i did or more for anyone else. they are great fun cars and they are tough as shit. plus they are donut machines :) have fun if u get it
Also the previous owners may have thrashed the hell out of it
Dont buy a car that had subs in it. Subs rattle things loose.
are you kidding me what car hasn't been thrashed the hell out of and subs rattle things loose wow good one considering the fact i bet pot holes do worse dumb ass
listening to the sound system is sounds like the owner is jsut a punk trying to be a show off who probably beat the car badly. anybody who is going to be an enthusiast and take care of their car doesnt go half ass on anything on it. why buy jl subs but not the proper matching jl amps? makes no sense unless you jsut dont want to fork out the cash it costs for them. and if thats the case what else did he short?
