my 2002 ford convertible mustang is having issues ithought it was the battery i changed battery and it will only run for a few minutes and shut off

about 1 month prior i had factory radio taken out and a cd kenwood cd player put in about
3 weeks ago it was really hot outside and it seemed to be running hot i had drips of fluid
falling on my feet from underneath driver side dash i put a brand new battery in and it only
runs for about 2-3 minutes then dies

water on the feet??? mmmm.... maybe it is the water pipe from the bay into the vehicle to a little radiator, have a look under the dash to see if anything is visual wrong on those.
