I have a 2002 mustang GT I put a 2005 crown Vic
4.6 in it why isn't the automatic 4r70w
transmission bolting up what do I need to fix this

What you want to do is search Windsor to Romeo swap. They have different bolt patterns for flywheels and flexplates Windsor is 8 bolt while Romeo is 6. You would need a flywheel or flexplate to match your current transmission.
