Windshield wipers stoped working on my 2004 Mustang, replaced the motor and now have only 2 speeds and the wipers stop in the position their in when you turn off the switch. WHY?

....well you are right...there is supposed to be a "park" position whereby the motor is energized until the cycle is complete...will have to look at your electrical schematic, but sounds to me like a connector was put on backwards~

Okay? The wiper motor has a 6 wire plug connector, one way off one way on, what could be backwards about that? Could it be the new wiper motor not wired properly. I'm at a lost thanks for your help.

...off by one tooth? do not know your connector~ I will try to find YOUR schematic to see what colors do what (if need be.)~
