I'm thinking about buying a 05 mustang gt has 100,000 miles on it and its selling for $10,000. Should i even bother trying to get it?

Shop Car Gurus and compare prices but I think that price is really high.
Not a chance. The price is high, and the car will undoubtedly have lived a hard 100K miles. Best to spend a little more upfront for a fresher model; you'll save on repairs in the long run.
