Are camshafts left/right specific on Ford 4.0L V6 SOHC?

My son had his heads rebuilt and now the engine is so far out of time that it
won't run and has no compression. Are the camshafts left/right or universal?
How can I tell which is right and which is left?

The Ford part numbers are different so the cams are not the same. I do not know what the differences are or if they will even fit on the wrong side. www.tascaparts.com for the part numbers.
