can i swap a 4.6 2005 with a 2007 4.6 ?

Hi guys i ve got a 2005 gt 4.6 l i just swap it
for a 2007 4.6 supercharged with brand new
2007 harness with the 2007 cpu my mechanic
has a little trouble with overcharging system
code can anyone help ??

are the wires in the wiring harness the same ? because my mecanic is going to cut the middle plug that come out of the body that goes to the cpu and splice it with a 2007 one that what my mecanic says might be the problem?

Due to the electronics you may need to either swap the alternator to the year engine you have or to the car year. I would try it both ways and see what happens.

Cutting and splicing. I think you are well into the danger zone. Good luck cuz you need it.
